EBC utilises a wide range of independent methods and techniques to support project decision making including for example the use of geographic information systems, micro economic models, cognitive mapping, repertory grids, interview methods and survey research.
Multiple criteria analysis (MCA) will often be used when an integrated approach to decision making is required, and where information from environmental, engineering, social and economic assessments are to be used across several options, alternatives or scenarios. EBC has the necessary skills and software for undertaking MCA which can also be tailored to suite specific projects and is able to be undertaken as a stand-alone assessment or within a participatory framework.
